Hul’q’umi’num’ heroes: Reclaiming Language Through Theatre is an applied theatre research project. In collaboration with Snuneymuxw Nation, UVic and SFU with the support of SSHRC.
Led by Dr Kirsten Sadeghi-Yekta, Co-facilitated, directed by PI’s Lara Aysal, Jemma Llewellyn, Dennis Gupa, Taiwo Afolabi.
The project aimed at supporting the cross-generational transfer of the Hul’q’umi’num language and culture through the medium of theatre.
